Meet Dylan
As a 7th generation Wisconsinite, Dylan Pfaffenbach is deeply rooted in the state he loves. Born and raised in Oak Creek, he has spent his entire life in Milwaukee County. Dylan grew up with his brother in a close-knit family, where his parents taught him the values of hard work, personal responsibility, and serving others.
From a young age, Dylan worked alongside his father, who has managed restaurants throughout southeastern Wisconsin. That experience taught him the value of hard work, the importance of earning a paycheck, and how decisions made in Madison can directly impact small businesses, workers, and local families.
Since the age of 16, Dylan has worked in and around the Wisconsin State Capitol, gaining firsthand experience in public policy and state government. Those years gave him a unique perspective on how Madison works—and where it falls short. Rather than sitting on the sidelines, Dylan decided to step forward and be part of the solution.
Dylan believes his generation has a responsibility to lead. While many talk about the future, he believes Gen Z must help shape it by getting involved, serving their communities, and bringing fresh ideas, energy, and a strong work ethic to public service.
Outside of public service, Dylan enjoys spending time outdoors, especially fishing, riding horses, exploring Wisconsin’s lakes and forests, and visiting America’s national parks. He believes protecting our land and preserving our natural resources are important responsibilities that help ensure future generations can enjoy Wisconsin’s outdoor heritage.
Grounded by his Wisconsin roots and driven by a commitment to serving his community, Dylan is running to bring common-sense leadership, listen to the people he represents, and work every day to build a stronger future for Wisconsin.
